Although there is some good advice on the internet it can be difficult to find, as so many have an opinion on how your should raise your puppy!
Good books such as The Perfect Puppy by Gwen Bailey and Easy Peasy Puppy Squeezy by Steve Mann are great, but I would say these are in addition to attending a good quality puppy class or bringing a professional trainer onboard.
